The Red and Black Award celebrates the retirement of an athletic number and/or jersey. The Lincoln-Way Central High School Athletic Department and the Retirement of Athletic Number/Jersey Committee established the following minimum standard for consideration: Professional Athlete, Olympic Athlete or hold a National Record at the high school, collegiate or professional level.
